Wal-Mart is testing a same-day delivery service in select markets for customers who buy popular items online over the Christmas holiday shopping season. The tests, which started this month, are taking place in northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, San Francisco and San Jose, Calif. About 5,000 items will be available for the same-day service.
